Graham came to Southwestern in August of 2015 after serving two seasons as the graduate assistant at St. Edward’s University.
Graham was a part of the coaching staff that guided the Hilltoppers to a 22-8 overall record last season, earning a trip to the Heartland Conference Tournament where they fell in the championship game.
Graham played four seasons at St. Edward’s University and was a member of the LBJ High School teams that won three consecutive district titles with a third place finish in the UIL 4A state playoffs.
During his time at St. Edward’s Graham was also heavily involved in running the basketball camp as the assistant director. He has a bachelor’s degree in communications with a master of business administration, both from St. Edward’s.
This is Coach Herbert’s second year as a volunteer assistant coach for the men’s Southwestern University Basketball team.
While he has been employed at Dell Inc. for 18 years, Coach Herbert brings extensive basketball and athletic knowledge to the program.
A baseball and basketball standout at Midland High School, Herbert set the single season assist record (264) during his senior basketball season and led the area in hitting with a .464 average.
Herbert went on to play two seasons of baseball at Texas State University before an ankle injury ended his collegiate career.
Most recently, Herbert has coached six seasons on the AAU basketball circuit with the Georgetown Fury Basketball Club, winning over 170 games.
Chris and his wife, Ginny, have been married for 24 years. They have 2 sons - Addison - 19, Kaden - 16 and a daughter Ainsley - 9.
